Information about the event

This spring, the Lviv region will once again become a place where Nordic Walking brings people together.
We invite you to the ONWF Ukrainian Nordic Walking Championship — an event that combines sport, nature, the power of community, and an international ranking of the ONWF World League.

This is more than a competition.
It is a meeting of like-minded people, an opportunity to challenge yourself, feel support, and take another important step on your Nordic Walking journey.

Even if you think competitions are “not for you,” if you are just starting out or have never competed before — you are welcome here.
We design this event so that every participant feels part of a big team and gains a positive, safe, and inspiring experience.

 Awards and categories:

5 km – overall classification (1st–3rd places); age categories: 18–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, 80+, as well as a separate category for participants with disabilities.

10 km – age categories: 18–39, 40–59, 60+ / 70+

Cups for winners in age categories; sponsor prizes for overall winners. All participants take part in a prize lottery.

Event program

May 2, 2026

08:00–09:00 – Distribution of start numbers, course inspection, and verification of Nordic Walking poles.
No registration on the day of the event.
09:45 – Joint warm-up for all participants
10:00 – Official opening of the competition;
start of the 20, 10 km race and start of the 5 km race
13:00 – Lunch and Nordic Walking workshops
(Bungy Pump, Nordic Power, Ritmica)
14:30 – Lottery, competition summary, awards ceremony for winners and medalists, and official closing of the event

How to get?
To get from Lviv Railway Station to Briukhovychi by public transport, follow this route:

Take Tram No. 6 (towards the city center).
Get off at Severyn Nalyvaiko stop (near the Hotel “Lviv”).
Transfer to Bus 8A towards Briukhovychi and get off at Kurortna stop.
The total travel time is approximately 45 minutes (depending on traffic). Buses run frequently.

Train option:
There is also a train Lviv – Briukhovychi (train 863L Kolomyia–Rava-Ruska).
