Important Reminder: Team Scoring Rules for the World League Season!

A quick recap of how team points are calculated in the World League this season. Make sure your team strategy is ready!

As we continue the season, we want to remind everyone how team points are calculated. In the team classification, points are based on the open classification of competitors at a given distance, regardless of gender.

Here is exactly how your team scores points:

• Main Scorers: We count the points of the top 5 competitors from the 5 km distance, 4 competitors from 10 km, and 2 competitors from 20 km.

• Remaining Members: Any additional team members who complete the distance automatically score a flat 50 points for the team.

• Online Mode Participants: Competitors starting in online mode earn a fixed 200 points for the team, but only if the team does not have the full required number of participants for that specific distance. If the team already has a full roster for the distance, the online competitor earns 50 points.

Remember, only the team's 5 best results from all starts are included in the final World League classification.
