We are pleased to invite you to participate in the next international 2023 Nordic Walking competition that will be held for the first time ever in URUGUAY, South America!
We are very happy to receive you and share this experience, meeting walkers from many countries, exchanging cultures and also getting to know different tourist attractions and beaches that our country offers.
This international competition will be held under the auspices of the best organization in the world: Original Nordic Walking Federation (ONWF)
In Uruguay, the main organizer is: Caminata Nórdica Uruguay, with support from the Municipal Administration of Montevideo and other sponsors.
Registration will begin on April 1st 2023
Participation in the competition has the following cost according to detail:
1 to 50 participants (first 50 paying registrants): USD 30
51 to 100 participants : USD 35
101 to 200 participants : USD 40

- Nordic walking 5 km
- Nordic walking 10 km
- Nordic walking 21 km
Continental Championship rank - 5000 points conversion factor (this many points are scored by the best competitor). The points you earn count in the following cycles:

Individual competition of the Continental Cup over a distance of 5 km for all age categories and disabled people.
13 hrs. - Announcement of competition results.

Located in the Department of Canelones, an area close to Carrasco on the Montevideo border. It is 20 km away from the center of Montevideo.
TRANSFERS FROM CARRASCO AIRPORT TO MONTEVIDEO
• BUS: TO THE CENTER OF MONTEVIDEO: USD 2 or 3 (paid in Uruguayan pesos)
Economic cost to travel without suitcases to the Center of Montevideo. It does not have a luggage hold. The bus stop is at the airport exit.
It takes 30 to 40 minutes to reach the destination.
You can take any of the buses that say "Montevideo" (700, 704, 710, 711, C1, C3)
The route to the center is through the Avenida Italia street and then Uruguay street, 3 blocks away from 18 de Julio street (the main avenue of Montevideo)

Comfortable transfer, but more expensive. It takes 20-30 minutes to reach the destination.
